Your stress and anxiety levels are likely to have increased due to the Corona virus pandemic. It is a worrying time for us all. Being stuck in isolation, away from our friends and family. It is a time of lots of forced changes and uncertainty about the future.

Self Care

This is an ideal time to increase your self care. With this retreat you will have a chance to step away from your stress and anxiety and learn techniques to soothe your body and mind. I will be gently guiding you through each practice and giving you tips to keep up your practice at home.

This online mindfulness retreat is suitable for complete beginners or those wishing to reconnect with or deepen their practice.

Mindfulness Retreat Practices

We will practice a number of different meditations including:

  • Body scan (laid down)
  • Mindful eating
  • Sounds and thoughts
  • Mindful movement
  • RAIN (Recognise, Allow, Investigate and Nurture)

You will have time to reflect on each practice and to explore your stress/anxiety triggers and learn techniques to relax and calm your mind.

What You Will Need

You will need a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. I recommend a yoga mat and pillow/blanket for the body scan meditation (laid down). Other meditations will be done seated so a comfortable chair or cushion will be required for those. You will also need a bit of space to move – we will be doing some gentle stretches and slow movements.

I also recommend keeping a notepad and pen nearby so that you can make some notes. I will email you some handouts for your reference and to support your on going practice.

We will be using Zoom, so you will need a suitable PC, laptop or tablet.

Booking is essential as are spaces limited so that I can give you individual attention.
