Will EFT Work On My X Issue Too?

Another question I frequently get asked by clients is: Will EFT Work On My X Issue Too?

FAQ - Will EFT work on my X issue?

Say a client has come to me for their stress and anxiety at work issue. They will often only think of using EFT on that issue. They won’t think to use this amazing tool on their fear of spiders issue or when they have an argument with their partner, or when they have a headache etc.

So my advice is always the same – just try it! When clients have resolved their original issue they often forget about EFT and don’t think to use it on other things that come up in their life. I always aim to teach my clients that this amazing tool is theirs – it’s at their fingertips.

Most people need a reminder from time to time though. So my advice is to do some tapping on a daily basis so that it becomes a good habit. That way we don’t have to think about it – we automatically start doing it in times of need. EFT becomes their ‘go to’ self help tool.

Here’s some ways I’ve used EFT this week to give you an idea:

  • Daily affirmations (remember to get rid of your “yes buts” first before working with affirmations)
  • Stuck behind a slow moving lorry when running late
  • Feeling stressed when trying to multi task too many things at once
  • Tight and painful shoulders (as a result of previous point!)
  • After hearing some upsetting news from a friend

EFT has helped me so much in so many ways. My aim is to educate and spread the word about this amazing tool so that you can benefit from it too.

So, why not try making EFT a part of your daily self care? That way, you will think of using it for your X issue 🙂

With life rushing by us at such a hectic pace, it is hard to take time out. But we can all manage to find 5 minutes for ourselves in a day. What to do with that 5 minutes?

  • You can sit quietly and just breathe – watch your breath going in and out
  • You can tap several rounds on an issue that bothering you
  • You can just tap – don’t tune in to anything in particular and don’t say anything – just tap
  • You can tap in some positive affirmations
  • You can tap in some gratitude – speak out loud all the things you are grateful for

You see, you don’t need an hour. Most people would struggle to find that amount of time for themselves every day. Even the busiest of people can find 5 minutes a day.

Power of the Mind with Bruce Lipton

A Must See Video On the Power of the Mind with Bruce Lipton

Would you like to know why EFT works and why it’s so effective?  🙂

Well Bruce Lipton, a cellular biologist and best-selling author, is about to explain to you why he considers EFT to be like “super learning”.

In this fascinating video Bruce will explain to you how your thoughts can make you sick, broke and unhappy, why regular “positive thinking” doesn’t work and how you can use EFT to reprogram your mind to get what you want in life.

You can check it out here:

Bruce Lipton is a cellular biologist who has spent years studying how our thoughts affect us in all areas of life.

His scientific studies are so shocking and revealing and have such wide-ranging ramifications that the established communities have gone to great lengths to keep them hidden, especially the medical community.

Bruce Lipton has out-right said that the majority of medical studies done today are inaccurate and misleading and he has the proof to show why.

If you’re ready for some mind-blowing information on how your thoughts effect all areas of your life and how you can use EFT to be healthy, wealthy and happy then I highly suggest watching this video:

Here are a few of the things that he discusses:

– Why positive thinking is not enough to change your life (And what he says does work)

– How the unconscious programming you received in childhood is effecting you today (And what you can do about the programs that aren’t serving you)

– The one simple belief that traditional medicine is based on that is 100% false.

This video is guaranteed to be one of the most eye-opening videos you’ll see all year.

P.S. – This video is part of the fr*ee Tapping World Summit Video series being released over the next few days leading up to this enormous event starting
on Feb. 21st (Last year over 100,000 people attended this event online)

If you missed the first video with Jack Canfield on how your past traumas and negative emotions may be keeping you from attracting what you want in life you’ll get access to that video as well when you see this one. Both are very powerful…

Thanksgiving – Celebrating Gratitude

Lots of my American friends were celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday. So it got me thinking about how I could use the day to offer my thanks too. Whilst I didn’t partake in a Thanksgiving celebration with friends and family, I did spend some time reflecting on all that I am grateful for.

Thanksgiving - Offering Gratitude

This is something that I do on a regular basis anyway. Each day I write in my Gratitude Journal. This is a special notebook where I write down several things each day that I am grateful for.

At times you may feel that you don’t have a lot to be grateful for. For example, you could have money worries or having trouble in a relationship. The key is at these times is to find something to be grateful for. It could be the sunshine when you woke up, or a kind word someone says to you at work. It could be the roof over your head, the love of your family or your train being on time. There is always something to be grateful for. Sometimes we just need to look a bit harder. Other times it will be easy and your gratitude will pour out of you.

Remember what we focus on we get. So by focusing on our gratitude we attract more things to be grateful for.

As well as writing in my gratitude journal, I like to tap in my gratitude. I repeat what I am grateful for, whilst tapping on the points. I start at the eyebrow and finish at the top of my head. I might repeat certain items several times or repeat a different item on each tapping point. The key for me here is to really feel that gratitude as I’m tapping it in. I find the combination of EFT and gratitude very powerful indeed.

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” – Anonymous

My gratitude to Katherine Krych (@HealingRays) for sharing this quote on Twitter.

The more you practice being grateful, the easier it becomes and the more things you find to be grateful for. I will leave you with this quote:

“If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, ‘thank you,’ that would suffice.” Meister Eckhart

In deepest gratitude!

Positive Affirmations

Affirmations are powerful positive auto suggestions that we repeat on a regular basis.  We can use EFT or tapping to make them even more powerful. There is no need for the setup statement, so we can just repeat our affirmation starting at the eyebrow point and keep going until we finish at the crown of the head. Repeat your affirmation with feeling and do several rounds of tapping.

Always ensure your affirmations are for your best outcome, simple to repeat, not too long and worded positively.

Here are some positive affirmations you may wish to try. Some of these have been influenced by Louise L.Hay who has been a great inspiration to me.

  • I am healthy
  • I can do it
  • I am filled with peace and joy
  • I am a success
  • Success comes easy to me
  • Money flows to me easily
  • I learn new things easily
  • My health is improving
  • I am fit and healthy
  • All my cells are working for my highest good
  • My immune system is strong
  • My energy is flowing smoothly
  • Inspiration flows easily to me

  • I feel calm and confident
  • Yes! Yes! Yes!
  • I weigh xx (insert ideal weight)
  • I am grateful to be alive

I hope you have fun with these affirmations! Repeat several rounds of your affirmations a couple of times a day.
